Classroom Support
One full-time classroom assistant is allocated to each Key Stage 1 and 2 class. As appropriate, classroom assistant time is time-tabled for Key Stage 3 and 4 classes. Pupils who have additional needs may be provided with individual classroom assistant support as specified in their Statement of Special Educational Needs.
A language assistant is also available to assist the teacher at Key Stage 3 and 4 develop the pupils signed vocabulary and improve reading and writing skills.
